A Story of Impact

For Christine Nunn, the YMCA has been part of her family for generations. Most recently, her 11-year-old grandson Malakhi attended Camp Michikamau for the first time, and the experience helped him come out of his shell.

With support from the YMCA’s Financial Assistance (Y for All) Fund, Malakhi built confidence, tried new activities, and created memories he’s still talking about months later.

“There are so many other camps they could have gone to,” Nunn said. "But it was the Y for us.”
